Series Mission: To raise awareness of the benefits the Firefly Trail will bring to area residents and visitors by providing an annual series of running/walking events in communities along the Trail corridor.
Series Overview: The Race Series will consist of four in-person and virtual events providing running/walking opportunities in towns formerly linked by the historic Athens Branch of the Georgia Railroad. This 39-mile transportation corridor is being converted to a non-motorized rail-trail between Athens and Union Point. A safe, off-road path, the Firefly Trail will connect three counties and eight communities, offer health benefits, boost economies, and bring people together.
Series Registration: $52.50 per runner for the remaining 3 Race Series races. This works out to be $17.50 per race including Race Series t-shirt. If you would like a shirt from each remaining race there will be an additional $5.00 charge per race T-shirt, still only $22.50 per race! CLICK HERE TO REGISTER ONLINE FOR THE REMAINING 3 RACES!
