Title Searcher

Volunteers are needed to assist us in educating others about the many benefits of the Firefly Trail. This may include one-on-one discussions, organized meetings, or large-scale community events. We also host booths and tables at local festivals and fairs.

This includes helping with our big in-house activities like the Ticket to Ride and other fun events. Jobs might entail setup, registration, providing information, tear-down, etc.

To move the project forward, we must identify and gauge the interest of property owners along the trail. With hundreds of parcels to research, your help is needed to conduct a thorough title search of each parcel. No experience is necessary…just the desire to learn how to search the deed books and ferret out the correct information.

Trail Steward

The board of directors has a wide range of active committees that are looking for additional members to assist with tasks. Committees typically meet once or twice every two months with some work between. Our current committees include: Fundraising, Trail Development, Communication/PR, Organizational Development, Programs and Events, and Membership and Volunteers.

We need volunteers to walk specified parts of the trail and be available to individuals who have any questions regarding personal safety or bike safety. The first mile of our trail will be completed late fall of 2017 and we are looking for volunteers now who would like to be trained and ready to start.
